I receive a lot of requests from people asking which items I use, books I read so I thought I would list these all on here with the links for ease.
FAST LIKE A GIRL - DR MINDY PELZ
The book I have featured on my Instagram which is a definite recommended read is Dr Mindy Pelz, Fast Like A Girl. I started following Dr Mindy recently when I saw her on a Podcast with Steven Bartlett discussing the incredible insights into Glucose and fasting and the immense benefits that can come from regular fasting. For the faint hearted, it isn’t as scary or daunting as it would first seem. I, myself fasted last year, before reading any books, purely to lose weight. I would eat once a day and lost so much within a small space of time. The energy I had was phenomenal too, also I’d like to highlight here that I am 50 and so obviously dealing with that time of life whereby weight gain is a thing and shifting it is hard. After following Dr Mindy it all made sense. Fasting resets and rejuvenates the body. If you’re willing to start it and get through the first couple of days you will notice a difference and it will highlight how much we need to stay away from the ‘sugar’ that is just causing sickness and harm.
